drawing Series: Sparrows and Crows.
Sparrows and Crows is a series of mixed media drawings. I am exploring a technique of rubbed and scratched markings on vellum. The original dustings are repeatedly erased and replaced. The history of the image remains layered in an altered state. Apparent beneath the final surface is the ruins of original intent. The drawings are laced with intricate layers of delicately connected marks smudged in toner and pastel. The sizes are 24X30/small/framed and 30X60/large/framed.
