Figures

I’m constantly attending open figure drawing sessions.
I have a strong background in drawing especially drawing from life with the nude figure. I draw as freely as possible trying all mixes of media. I am striving to stay abstract. At times, I take these sketches and sculpt clay models from them. I also print from my sketches. I use etching inks on plexi-glass plates and press monoprints of the figure. The Center for Contemporary Print Making is a wonderful arts facility in Norwalk for printers of all disciplines. I appreciate the fresh direct paint to plate and print process that mono-printing allows.
