“Professor” Lori
computer, painting, drawing
I smile when my NCC students call me “Professor” Lori. I do love to teach and consider myself a patient instructor. I understand the courage it takes to face down a blank canvas or to try to wrangle with a new Creative Suite Application. I am an experienced teacher.
I provide instruction for water based painting such as watercolor, gouache and acrylic. I teach foundation drawing at Norwalk Community College in the Spring and Fall semesters; private instruction in drawing and painting is available as well.
With technology, I enjoy working with creative people and teaching artists the most direct methods to manage and promote their art. Instruction towards that goal includes lessons in organizing and formatting images, retouching images in Photoshop, designing promotional materials in Illustrator, linking through social networking, and building efficient WordPress sites.
